Jagmohan Sharma, M.D., a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation specialist with an Orthopedic background, has distinguished international credentials to his credit. After graduating from M.L.N. Medical College, Allahabad, India, Dr. Sharma obtained Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery, followed by post-graduate training at the Safdarjang Orthopedic Institute, New Delhi, India. Dr. Sharma’s Orthopedic Practice took him to Saudi Arabia and then to England where he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons, U.K. Dr. Sharma’s deep interest in the specialty of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation brought him to the United States, and after receiving a second Board Certification, this time in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, he went on to complete a Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Medicine.
Doctor Sharma is married with 2 children and has been on the medical staff at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, previously St. Joseph’s Mercy Macomb Hospital, since June of 1999. Dr. Sharma is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and a Certified Independent Medical Examiner. He is also a long-standing member of the American Medical Association and Michigan State Medical Society.
